Bicycle Built For Two

This project is my introduction to the online notation program, Noteflight. I found this program to be very user friendly. The keyboard commands would have been difficult to discover without the listing that was provided. I was impressed to see the quality of this program that is offered for free.

This program will truly gain more popularity. This program should prove to be a useful tool in music education. Students at all levels can have an interest at composition. This program can allow the creativity to happen while students learn the mechanics of notation at no monetary cost. The internet makes it accessible from any computer. It could be used as a class project whereas a middle school music class might all be asked to contribute to a composition with a few parameters such as only submitting two consecutive measures with one voice. Students can create edits to parts or sections of established compositions. In most cases the editing of parts should be advised by the director.
